According to application documents, the site would be used as an extension of its car showroom and workshop, while also allowing the business to "enlarge the service and valet services".

It would feature two automatic car washing bays, three drying spaces, eight parking bays, a tool store, a plant room and a new area for bin storage.

The Norwich Audi showroom in Meridian Way underwent a huge redevelopment in 2015 which brought it in line with the newest Audi centres in the country.

The four-month project included the creation of a new Audi Sport Centre area and hi-tech private lounge.

The Audi dealership, which is part of the Robinsons Motor Group, was contacted for comment on the plans.
