Two chart-topping rock bands have announced new tour dates in Norwich.

Royal Blood and The Libertines are both set to visit the UEA LCR later this year.

Brighton rock duo Royal Blood announced a trio of new shows today in Norwich, Bristol and Glasgow.

The pair, whose four albums have all reached number one in the UK, will headline the city venue on June 12.

“We are thrilled to be adding a few more headline dates to tie in with our festival appearances this summer,” the band shared on social media. “Look forward to seeing you there.”

Fronted by Pete Doherty and Carl Barat, The Libertines are going on a 16-date tour of the UK this autumn and will visit the LCR on October 4.

The band are promoting their latest album called All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade which is due to be released in March and is the first album they have released together since 2015. 

The Libertines last visited the LCR in 2021 for their Giddy Up A Ding-Dong Tour and are best known for their 2004 self-titled album The Libertines. 

Tickets for both gigs go on general sale on Friday.
