Can you help find a loving home for Joanie who has "battle scars" all over her body?

Norfolk Greyhound Rescue is appealing for happy homes to take in Joanie, a six or seven-year-old lurcher from Ireland.

A spokesman for the charity said: "Poor Joanie hasn't had the easiest of lives so far.

"She has been used for breeding and has battle scars over her body but this hasn't stopped this fabulous girl from loving humans."

According to the rescue centre, she is not high-maintenance and would be best suited to being an only dog due to her hard life.

Joanie is not cat-friendly and it is unknown if she would get on with children.

She is 24 inches from tail to shoulder so she is not a large lurcher.
