Two active retreats based in Norfolk have been named among the best of their kind in the UK.
The Guardian has included Ubuntu Spirit's West Lexham spring retreat and Eastwood Whelpton's Women on the Water getaway in its list of the country's top 12 active retreats.
Ubuntu Spirit is an inclusive and accessible community group that runs a range of wellness events in London.
Each year it holds a retreat to West Lexham, a wellness centre in the Norfolk countryside.
During this trip, participants can join a range of activities, from meditation, sound healing and gong baths to Zumba, freshwater swimming and canoeing.

The accommodation types on offer range from bell tents and cabins to treehouses and a converted barn.
Eastwood Whelpton's retreat is held on traditional Broads yachts and aims to get women to relax in nature and enjoy being on the water.
Breakfast and lunches are provided on board and the boats moor up to riverside pubs for an evening meal.
