A three-time drunk driver was told he was lucky not to have killed anyone after crashing into a tree.
Christopher Harrod, 38, from North Walsham, pleaded guilty to being over the limit when his Citroen C3 veered off the road as he drove towards Norwich on November 5 last year.
Norwich Magistrates’ Court was told he had previously been convicted of drink driving in 2005 and 2010.
Magistrates, who said he had been fortunate the crash had not been worse, banned him from driving for 15 months and ordered he pay fines and costs of £525.
