There were delays in the Costessey area after a car crashed into a pedestrian crossing.
Police were called to the scene at 1.55pm today following reports of a collision involving a Renault Clio.
The crash happened in Longwater Lane at the Dereham Road junction by the Roundwell Medical Centre.
Police remained on the scene while they waited for the vehicle to be recovered.
Heavy traffic was building in the area, with congestion on Dereham Road back towards the Longwater roundabout.
