A historic 180-year-old Norfolk pub and hotel has been taken over by an award-winning hospitality group.

The King William IV, in Sedgeford, has become the third Norfolk acquisition of the Coaching Inn Group, which operates 34 other hotels and inns across the country.

The hospitality group, which also runs The Manor Coastal Hotel and Inn in Blakeney and The Pheasant Hotel in Holt, was recently awarded the AA’s Hotel Group of the Year for 2023/24.

The King William IV, in Heacham Road, celebrated its 180th anniversary in 2016 and the hostelry offers nine rooms for guests.
