A pub has reopened with big plans for the future after undergoing an "exciting" refurbishment.
The Crown & Mitre in King's Lynn threw open its doors to customers on Thursday and has teased its "stunning" eight-course Valentine's Day tasting menu for its new dining area.
The 17th-century building in Ferry Street was taken over last August by locally-born Will Clayton who has more than 30 years experience in the hospitality industry.
He said: "Following a sympathetic refurbishment in January, we have reopened our historic doors once again and are determined to make The Crown & Mitre the destination pub in King's Lynn for food, drink or a simple catch-up with friends.

"Guests can enjoy a romantic supper with a cocktail or glass of fizz on arrival, followed by sumptuous homemade dishes such as shellfish bisque with crostini, fillet steak with all the trimmings, pink peppercorn-crusted salmon, and strawberry mousse with ginger biscuit."
The pub will specialise in seasonal produce and local fare while claiming to be competitively priced.
Mr Clayton added: "From a menu which champions our local suppliers, including a truly superb Sunday Lunch menu, we aim to offer something for everyone.
"Our kitchen team have worked hard to create a stunning romantic menu of seasonal local produce that will melt even the iciest of hearts."
