A man who died after a crash on the A47 earlier this week was hit by a Royal Mail van, the company has confirmed.
The road was closed for nearly eight hours after a man in his 50s was hit by a red Vauxhall Vivaro at 11.15am on Monday.
Emergency services attended the incident but the man died at the scene.
A Royal Mail spokesman has confirmed that the man was hit by one of the company's vehicles.
They added that Royal Mail would be "engaging with the police and their investigation".
Norfolk Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant dashcam footage.
They are asked to contact SCIU@norfolk.police.uk, quoting reference NC-29012024-145.
