A man was killed when he was hit by a vehicle on the A47 on Monday.

Drivers reported tailbacks stretching several miles and hold-ups lasting more than an hour, as the emergency services dealt with the aftermath of the incident.

The crash occurred on the eastbound carriageway between Easton and Little Melton on Monday morning.

Both the eastbound and westbound carriageways have now reopened fully.

National Highways: East posted on X, formerly Twitter, that traffic is now flowing freely in the area.
