Two sisters from King's Lynn have launched a new business aiming to help parents cope with the cost of living crisis.

Through Big Sis, Little Sis, Zoe and Becky Hornigold offer bundles of unwanted and pre-loved children's clothes to parents for low prices.

They have several sales planned throughout 2024 which they hope will help as many parents as possible.

Zoe explained the pair were inspired to start the venture after feeling the strain of trying to support their own families.

"I have a little girl and Becky has a little boy - we were fed up of spending a fortune on clothes for the little ones," she said.

"We found that we were buying so many clothes and then getting stuck with them afterwards.

"We wanted to do something that allowed unwanted and pre-loved clothes to be reused by someone else, so we decided to create bundles of clothes that can hopefully be passed on again after."

She added that the business had already become more popular than they initially imagined.

"Given the cost of living crisis, it has proven hugely popular and we are so pleased and proud to have helped out lots of people in the local community."

Big Sis, Little Sis also hosted an indoor Christmas market and meet and greet Santa event in December to allow struggling parents to take their children to festive events at a fraction of the normal price.

They hope to put on "lots more" similar events in 2024, with the first children's and babies' clothes sale of the year being held on Sunday at the King's Lynn Discovery Centre.

It will run from 2pm until 4pm and entry is 50p for adults and free for children.
