Further details are yet to be announced by the charity, but early plans suggest the whole unit would be occupied by a Cancer Research shop and donation point.

Mothercare still sells its products in the UK through Boots stores and has a franchise operation overseas.

Fresh plans for a Cancer Research store come during a period of transition in Norwich's riverside area.

Clarks, Poundland and Argos have all recently closed their sites in the retail park, while popular fast food chain Five Guys launched a new outlet at the nearby leisure complex.
