A "nuisance" off-road bike has been seized after it was being driven illegally on public roads near King's Lynn.

Officers stopped the vehicle in Terrington St Clement on Boxing Day after the owner was driving it without insurance or a licence.

They said: "Riding bikes in this way not only puts the rider at risk but also the wider community.

"Anti-social off-road vehicle use in the village is one of the current priorities for the local policing team after complaints from local people about the nuisance it can cause."

Locals are being encouraged to voice their concerns about similar anti-social behaviour in a Safer Neighbourhood Action Panel in Emneth on January 30.

People from King's Lynn, Downham Market, Terrington St Clement and Emneth will be able to speak to officers from the area directly as well as borough councillors.
