A businesswoman diagnosed with liver failure died following an overdose of over-the-counter painkillers. 

Diana Talbot, 81, of King’s Lynn, died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on December 15. 

At an inquest opening, a court heard that the medical cause of death following a post-mortem was acute liver failure due to, or because of, a paracetamol overdose. 

She was also described as having frailty. 

It was also confirmed at Norfolk Coroner’s Court that she was born on July 17, 1942, in Colombia, South America. 

Diana Aracelly Aguirre Talbot was retired at the time of her death. 

The inquest was opened by the senior coroner for Norfolk, Jacqueline Lake, on December 21. 

It has been adjourned to take place at the court based at County Hall in Norwich on July 12, 2024.
