A Norwich dog and her owner have reached the final of the world's greatest dog show.

Pam Mayhew and her Stabyhoun Danica won the Crufts Intermediate Novice Anything But Collie semi-final on December 18, qualifying them for the final set to be held in March.

Crufts is one of the world's best-known dog competitions which showcases pooches' abilities and educates people about canine care.

The semi-final was held at London's ExCel centre and was hosted by The Kennel Club.

Ms Mayhew and Danica, who competes under the name Staby What, must now beat seven other duos to be crowned Crufts 2024 champions.

“I am amazed and very happy - Danica was a star and I’m excited for Crufts," Ms Mayhew said.

Catherine Guiver, head of events at The Kennel Club, said: “The excitement was incredibly high - well done to all competing dogs and their owners for showing great skill in the arena."
