A Norwich theatre company is opening a permanent space for dining and drinking inside its historic city home.
Curious Directive is based at St Simon and St Jude Church in Elm Hill and it launched the outdoor Botanical Garden Bar in 2020 to diversify in response to the pandemic.
This has continued to run as a popular pop-up every summer and the company is now building on this success with an indoor bar.

The finishing touches are now being made to The Potting Shed, which will launch in February 2024 with a four-week residency from local chef Meg Greenacre.
She will serve Scandinavian-style dishes using Norfolk produce, with booking opening in the new year.

The Potting Shed space will be multi-functional and easily switched between other uses, such as a meeting room and a studio theatre.
Jack Lowe, artistic director, said: "Everything we have done in the church is about creating great experiences and showcasing our theatre, with our next show in the spring.
"We wanted a space that we can use all year round and we have sourced more than 100 plants so it feels like being in a potting shed."
