Oakwood House Care Home in Colney, near Norwich, is staging its very own pantomime.
And to make it truly unique, a script has been created based on the nursing home itself.
Residents chose Jack and the Beanstalk as their favourite panto and Oakwood casting crew and writers adapted the story to “Jayne (Oakwood House’s head housekeeper) and the Oaktree... with mystery friends”.
A spokesperson said: “The pantomime has proved to be a hot topic around the home. Everyone is excited.”
After the panto, the Oakwood team will be singing a version of the 12 Days of Christmas, written by the activities coordinator, Sally.
The first panto is on Tuesday, December 19 at 2pm and the second will be on Wednesday, December 20 at 2pm.
