A farmer hopes to turn a country cowshed into an eight-bed hotel.
Mark Lorimer has applied for planning permission to convert the barn at Docking Lodge Farm, off the B1454 Fakenham Road at Docking, near Heacham.
A planning statement says: "The building has in the past been used to accommodate heifers as part of the farm operations.
"The farm now principally grows cereal crops and the building has become surplus to requirements.

"The applicant has taken the opportunity to seek permission to undertake this form of diversification to supplement the income to the farm."
The statement lists a lengthy planning history, in which prior notification for the change was previously agreed in 2018.
But it adds Mr Lorimer was not aware work had to completed within three years and planning approval obtained for any external work.
His latest plans show a kitchen, bar and restaurant on the ground floor, with eight en-suite bedrooms on the first.
