An endangered species of monkey has given birth at a Norfolk zoo.
It was born on Wednesday, November 15 at Banham Zoo and is the second black-headed spider monkey to be born at the zoo this year.
The baby belongs to 13-year-old mum, Hattie, but the gender is not yet known.
Kelly Hunter-Harl, communications manager at Banham Zoo, said: "The baby has not been sexed yet as it's really important we don't separate them from the mother in these early stages.
"We haven't given the baby any checks yet but they look to be settling in really well which is amazing to see.

"This species of monkey is critically endangered so we're all really excited about it."
The International Union for the Conservation of Nature classifies the species as 'endangered' due to a population decrease of more than 50pc over the course of 45 years.
This was based on studies in Central American countries including Mexico, Honduras and Costa Rica, published in 2020, citing causes including the pet trade and habitat degradation due to the logging industry,
