A Methodist chapel which is no longer viable could be turned into a home.
A developer named as "a client of Landles" in planning papers has applied to convert the 19th century building at South Wootton, in King's Lynn.
Plans submitted to West Norfolk council propose creating a four-bed property in the building, on Pepper's Green.

A planning statement says: "The previous use as a chapel is no longer viable and the alternative use as a dwelling will provide further accommodation to the area while ensuring the building is retained and maintained.
"The proposal aims to retain the character of the chapel while providing a comfortable environment for future occupiers of the dwelling."
The statement adds apart from a small patio, the rest of its grounds will be returned to natural vegetation including hawthorn and hazel, to encourage wildlife, along with a large flower bed.
A decision is expected next year.
