The court heard Urbaniak, who will stand trial on February 19 next year, could yet be charged in relation to a burglary before the Land Rover was stolen in Newmarket on August 11.

The case was adjourned until January 5.

Jablonski has also admitted causing death while driving with no insurance and while driving while disqualified.

In addition he has pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicle taking of the Land Rover in Newmarket on Friday, August 11, and criminal damage, of £6,000 worth of crops, which were destroyed when he drove into a field in a bid to escape from police.

He is due to be sentenced after the trial of his son.

The incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) by Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies, as is standard procedure.
