A "lovely older gentleman" is up for adoption at Dogs Trust Snetterton.

Skipper, a nine-year-old shaggy-haired crossbreed, is seeking his forever home.

Skipper does not require much exercise aside from some gentle walks as he is currently being treated for some arthritis symptoms.

He instead prefers to snooze his days away and lounge around on the sofa with his favourite people.

Skipper would be happiest in a home with a garden for him to potter around and relax with his toys and chews.

He is a big foodie who prefers not to share so everyone in the home should be willing to respect his boundaries.

He should be the only pet in the home but would be happy meeting other pooches out and about.

Any children in the family should be in the older years at secondary school.
