The grounds develop even more magic over the festive period. The hall itself gets a Christmas facelift that can be explored by guests in their candlelight self-led tours.

Blakeney Point Coastal Walk

Blakeney National Nature Reserve's rugged and dramatic coastline makes it the perfect place for a stroll in the winter months.

The area of outstanding natural beauty has vast open landscapes perfect for a slightly more active walk. The National Trust has a four-mile-long shingle spit to the sand dunes perfect for blowing those wintery cobwebs away.

A large seal colony is also known to make the beach their home, however, it is important to admire them from a distance and stick to the paths set out.

Whittingham Broad

The broad on the outskirts of Norwich is a hive for activity. The circular two-and-a-half-mile trail winds around the broad for a picturesque waterside walk.
