A beloved newsagent in the heart of Sheringham is closing its doors after 37 years of business.
Whistlestop in Station Road is closing as the owner Cliff Morris is retiring.
The 63-year-old took over the store in 1986 and over the years he expanded it to include a photo lab, an ice cream parlour, and a hot food takeaway.
"More than anything I'll miss the customers," he said. "I'll miss the old ladies coming in for a chat and being the place where the community can come together."
The closer comes after the shop became a smaller kiosk in the corner of the building in 2020 after the larger store was deemed "unsuitable".

The community has already come together to support Mr Morris and he has received lots of "lovely letters" wishing him good luck in his retirement.
Mr Morris added: "The shop has hugely changed over the years with things like the Sunday trading laws, the shop has changed immeasurably."
The last day of trading will be on Saturday (December 2) and Mr Morris will still be active in the community as he will devote more time to his role as councillor on Sheringham Town Council.
