A new family-run beauty studio will open its doors in Old Catton this week.

Carman's Studio, in Dixon's Fold, will be run by sisters Georgie and Robbyn Carman and will welcome clients from tomorrow.

Georgie Carman, 26, runs the beauty side of the business.

She has been in the industry for four years and has spent the past two years managing a salon in the city centre.

"Our surnames may change one day but now we will always be joined with the name."

"We want to go that next step and create a community for our clients, making them look good on the outside and feel good on the inside."
