Bonnie the cat-friendly lurcher is looking for a new forever home in Norfolk after her previous owners gave her up.

She is up for adoption with Norfolk Greyhound Rescue after coming over from Ireland and is currently homed with two teenagers and two cats who she gets on well with.

Bonnie is around two years old and is in "beautiful condition", with a short, clean coat.

According to the rescue organisation, she loves her walks and waits on command when told to.

She is also good with other dogs and travels well in the car.

Bonnie will need a secure garden and needs an experienced owner due to being quite strong, but she is affectionate and "loves to cuddle".

She does not bark when people come to the door and can be left alone for up to six hours.

The rescue said: "She would benefit from and would love a like-minded, playful doggy friend.

"She responds well to commands, such as sitting for food, but can be quite 'mouthy' when playing as she is still young."
