A north Norfolk town is gearing up to host its annual Christmas light "extravaganza" with festive stalls, carousel rides and a free gift from Father Christmas.
The Sheringham Christmas Lights Extravaganza will kick off across the town from 1pm on December 3, where families and children will be able to ring in the festive season with activities, entertainment and a lights switch-on.
The free-to-attend event will be opened at the Chequers car park on the seafront with stalls and rides, as well as at Oddfellows Hall where Santa's Grotto will be.

Each child will get a free gift and a box to post letters to Santa. There will also be professional portrait opportunities.

Crowds will gather at the town clock from 5.30pm to countdown the lights switch-on at 6pm.
While the event is free, some activities may require a charge and donations are welcome.
Funds raised will go toward other events organised by Sheringham Carnival throughout the year.
