A man has been rescued from the water on the Norfolk coast this afternoon.
Gorleston RNLI were called to the incident at 3.54pm today (November 22) near the Asda store in Great Yarmouth.
The Coastguard and Norfolk Constabulary also attended the scene.
The man was pulled from the water and taken back to the boat station where he was passed into the care of the ambulance service.
An East of England Ambulance spokesman said: "Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer and the air ambulance attended a call out to a person in the water near Great Yarmouth this afternoon.
"One patient, a male, was recovered from the water and was transported by land to James Paget Hospital for treatment."
