An award-winning Norfolk brewery has recently expanded to meet demand, which includes a major pub group contract.

Barsham Brewery has been producing craft beers and ales on the West Barsham Estate, near Fakenham, since 2018.

Maris Otter barley is grown, harvested and blended with pure water from their own borehole and brewed into beer.

Despite industry-wide challenges, the business has expanded its production capacity due to its growing popularity.

This has included adding a delivery vehicle and investing in new equipment and facilities to improve efficiency.

Tom Trivedi, managing director, said: "We are thrilled to announce this exciting phase in the evolution of Barsham Brewery.

"Our relationship with both independent pubs and pub groups, such as Chestnut Inns, has meant that expansion was needed to meet increasing demand.”

The expansion follows a series of awards, including its Oaks Session Bitter being named the 2023 Norfolk Session Bitter of the Year by Norwich and District CAMRA.

Barsham Brewery is also planning to introduce new beer varieties and Street Food Friday events return in April 2024.
