A vehicle went through three red lights during a car meet that was broken up by police.

Police officers were made aware of a "travelling meet" in King's Lynn on Sunday which had driven through Cambridge from Skegness.

The group arrived around 6.30pm and police told them that a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) was in place in the area, dispersing them with very few issues.

Three offences were recorded during the event which included a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) for excessive use of a horn, an individual obstructing police after providing false details and an incident of dangerous driving after a vehicle travelled through three red lights.

PSPOs are often used to break up vehicle-related anti-social behaviour by placing restrictions on a variety of activities such as street racing, stunts, continuous revving, amplified music and unnecessary use of the horn.

Other restrictions include littering from a vehicle, sudden acceleration and threatening or intimidating language.
