A couple who have been at the helm of some of the county's best-known restaurants has launched a new cafe.

The Horkey Kitchen has opened in Bawdeswell in the former home of Hamptons at the Barn.

The new cafe is owned by Lily Wade and George Wright who have years of experience in the hospitality industry and met while working at the King's Arms in Reepham four years ago.

Ms Wade added: "We're trying to support other local small businesses and I hope people want to support us back.

"We're really overwhelmed by the positive feedback so far and very excited for everything to come."

The Horkey Kitchen is located in Dereham Road and is open 9am to 4pm Tuesday to Sunday.
