A popular food, drink and makers' market in north Norfolk is returning with a special Christmas edition.

The Holt Sunday Market takes place in and around the High Street on the first weekend of the month from March until December.

The final event of 2023 is on Sunday, December 3 from 10am to 3pm with free entry and more than 60 local stalls.

There will also be bars offering cocktails, wine, cider and beer and six street food traders.

Other highlights include the Festive Doggy Dress-up Competition and a visit from the Mini Donks miniature donkeys for wellbeing.

Thousands of people are expected so pre-booking a parking space is recommended at holtsundaymarket.com/parking and it costs £3.90 per car. 

The town centre will be decorated in lights at the market, with the switch-on event on Friday, November 17 at 7pm, followed by fireworks. 

Other highlights on November 17 include a festive makers' market in Bakers Yard from 3pm and at 5.30pm is the panto horse race along the High Street, followed by Santa's Parade with the Norwich City Pipers.
