Police enquiries are still ongoing after a 39-year-old man died at a friend’s house in Great Yarmouth earlier this year.

A Norwich court heard how Adam West had been with friends when he “collapsed” on February 10.

Speaking at a pre-inquest review, area coroner for Norfolk, Samantha Goward, said: “Mr West was at a friend’s address when he collapsed to the floor and became unresponsive.

“Emergency services were called but sadly attending paramedics declared him deceased at the scene.”

Police from Norfolk Constabulary are continuing to carry out investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.

As a result, another pre-inquest review hearing will take place at Norfolk Coroner’s Court, based at County Hall, on February 2, 2024.

An inquest into his death was first opened on June 19.
