Dermot O'Leary spotted on Cromer beach with film crew

Dermot O'Leary, of The X Factor and This Morning fame, stopped to take selfies with fans while visiting Cromer on Wednesday. 

The star was working on a special Second World War edition of the BBC's Saving Lives at Sea which will feature the RNLI Henry Blogg Museum in Cromer. 

The museum is home to the HF Bailey lifeboat which was in use throughout the war and helped rescue 448 people from drowning during its 10 years in service.

She said: "He said he really liked Cromer and hadn’t been before despite spending a lot of time up the coast beforehand.

"He said Cromer was like a little secret gem!"

He stayed with his film crew at the Grove Hotel and greeted fans on the seafront who said he was "so approachable" and "genuinely happy" to meet them.
