Four kittens were abandoned outside a dog training centre.

They were dumped outside Waggy Tails Dog Training Centre in Church Lane, Beccles.

A trainer found the first kitten on Wednesday, October 25, and the other three were found in the following days.

Sheena Tyrell-Sheppard, the chief instructor of Waggytails, said: "It's disappointing that people can treat pets in that way.

"There's a serious problem with strays in this country."

The abandonment comes just weeks after eight cats were abandoned in a Norfolk field that "wouldn't have survived if they weren't found".

The cats have made their home at Waggy Tails out of a "leaky" abandoned office block that's "in the process of getting demolished".

Sheena added: "We've had help from Cats Protection to try and catch the cats."

However, the organisation is so overwhelmed that even if the kittens are caught they may not be able to be rescued.

So Waggy Tails has appealed on its Facebook page to anyone who would be interested in giving the kittens a permanent home to get in touch.
