A large number of illegal vapes and tobacco products were seized during raids of shops in Lowestoft.

Police and Trading Standards officers visited seven shops to search for counterfeit items on sale. 

The combined teams seized around 400 vapes, 10,000 cigarettes and a "large" quantity of tobacco.

The raids followed a recent government consultation created to ensure a "smoke-free generation" by tackling vaping and smoking in youths. 

The consultation is open to anyone, of any age, in the UK.
