From illuminated wings to singing pumpkins, an engineer has created a huge Halloween light show at his home on the outskirts of Norwich.

Hayden Moon, 50, is hosting Grove Lights for the third year in a row at his house in Grove Way, Newton Flotman.

The amount of LEDs used has almost doubled, with around 25,000 this year, and the synchronised hour-long light show features special effects and is set to Halloween and rock music.

The show is on October 27 and 28 from 6pm to 8pm and on October 29, 30 and 31 from 5pm to 8pm, with each sequence starting on the hour.

There is free parking at the nearby village hall, where there will also be loaded fries from The Bucket List on Friday evening.

It is free to attend with donations encouraged for Macmillan Cancer Support by cash or card.

The display will be switched up for Christmas, which will run daily from December 1 to January 1 from 5pm to 8pm, with donations for Newton Flotman Social Club.

Mr Moon said: "The show is all about spreading a bit of joy.

"A lot of people are still struggling with the cost of living crisis and all the family can come along for nothing - there is no pressure to donate."

As he uses super low-energy lights, it only costs about £1 a night to run.
