A swimming pool and gym in Norwich has had its future secured for the next six years after a new deal was signed.
Riverside Leisure Centre will see its management contract extended until 2029 following a record year, with membership numbers surpassing pre-pandemic levels and more than 350,000 visits recorded.
The venue, which has been run by Places Leisure Limited on behalf of Norwich City Council since 2013, has "bounced back strongly" after it was forced to close during the coronavirus pandemic.

Councillor Adam Giles, cabinet member for communities and social inclusion, said: "The continued success of Riverside Leisure Centre is fantastic news and over the last year it's been great to see record numbers of visitors, showing how much the local community values using the centre to stay healthy and active."
The council has said the new deal will bring £2.2m of "social value" to Norwich.
Dan Walker, Places Leisure business development director, added: "As a social enterprise, delivering local services for local communities is at the heart of what we do.
"We look forward to ensuring the facility is fully inclusive and accessible to the whole community while protecting this vital service for years to come."
