The owners of a Norfolk deli have celebrated the "fantastic" opening of its second location in a new village.

Kit and Rhiannon Agnew launched Litcham Deli in a former butchers' unit in Church Street in November last year and took the opportunity to launch a second store in East Rudham in August.

Rudham Deli opened last Wednesday (September 27) to an "enormous influx" of locals and supporters.

"We've had a great reception from people coming in and checking us out," Rhiannon said.

"People have been incredibly complimentary and we've been really delighted to see our Litcham regulars come over and see us too."

Specialising in produce from Norfolk and Suffolk suppliers, the Rudham branch continues the trend with a range of local meat and veg from independent growers and butchers.

"We worked really hard for the two weeks before opening to offer as much local stock as possible," Rhiannon added.

"We feel really well supported here."

Next spring, the pair hope to restore the building's original brick and flint exterior to its "former glory".
