A new wine and cocktail bar is launching at a coastal restaurant.

The lounge will be opening at North at Burlington, part of Burlington Berties boutique hotel in Sheringham.

Owners Sally Davis and Joanna Betts are expanding the restaurant after a successful first year and are looking to bring a unique drinking experience to the area.

Ms Davis said: "We wanted to be part of the community hence why we opened the restaurant and now the cocktail lounge.

"The majority of our customers are local and our outdoor gin house is very popular when the weather is good.

"We wanted to provide somewhere where people can have a really good drink indoors."

The new bar will serve a variety of classic cocktails including French Martinis, Hugos and Espresso Martinis.

All of the gin-based cocktails will be made using NORTH42 Gin which is created on-site by Ms Betts.

Ms David added: "The lounge will be entirely table service in the London and New York style.

"It will be something different for the community."

The wine and cocktail lounge at North at Burlington will open in mid-October.
