A city restaurant has been named one of the UK's best in the latest TripAdvisor awards.
The travel website has announced its 2023 Travellers' Choice for the Best of the Best Restaurants in the UK and Namaste Village Norwich was ranked number 10 for 'everyday eats'.
The awards are granted to businesses that earn consistently positive reviews during a 12-month period.
Namaste, in Queens Road, is currently the highest-rated restaurant of the 471 in Norwich and was named the vegetarian restaurant of the year at The Nation's Curry Awards 2023.
The fine dining experience is decorated with an Indian village theme.
Its owners are from Gujarat and chefs are from Rajasthan, Kerala and Gujarat so the menu is curated and served authentically.
The business began in 2010 when Namaste Village opened as the city's first vegetarian restaurant.
In 2016, the owners relocated to the larger Queens Road premises and started to run cookery lessons and community initiatives.
Namaste Village also has restaurants in London and Cambridge.
