An inquest has been opened following the death of a beloved father-of-three who died in a motorcycle crash.
Jake Medler 36, from Wicklewood, near Wymondham, died on Wednesday, September 13, in Salhouse.
Mr Medler died at the scene after his orange KTM motorcycle was involved in a crash with a black Land Rover in Low Road, Salhouse.
On Monday, an inquest into his death was opened by Jacqueline Lake, senior coroner for Norfolk.
During the short hearing, Mrs Lake confirmed Mr Medler worked as an offshore wind farm electrician and that he was born in Norwich.
His medical cause of death was given as multiple traumatic injuries as a result of a road traffic collision.
Following his death, his wife Sophie paid tribute to her partner, who she described as a "gentle whirlwind".
She said: "There was no happier or safer place for me than in his arms - his brave girls were the centre of his universe.
"I hope above all, Jake is remembered for that big heart."
A full inquest will be held on March 26, 2024.
