Take That announce 2024 tour going to Carrow Road in Norwich

The band, which consists of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen in its current line-up, are heading to Carrow Road on Tuesday, May 28 following sell-out concerts in 2017 and 2019 at the stadium.

Take That revealed the news in a video on their website on Friday morning (September 22) to coincide with the release of their new single Windows.

They also appeared on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 to chat about the new tour.

It will celebrate the release of their ninth album This Life, which comes out on November 24 2023.

This Life on Tour will feature special guest Olly Murs, who has had eight top-ten singles, and there are 29 dates in 15 cities across the UK and Ireland. 

Take That said: "We’re incredibly proud of the new album - there’s a sense of togetherness, whether that’s us coming back together as a band or people wanting connection in their own lives.  We’re excited for this new chapter!”

The last two times that Take That came to the city in recent years saw superfans queue from the early hours to bag a spot at the front of the crowd.

The confirmation of a 2024 concert in Norwich comes after cryptic images were shared on Take That's social media pages on Thursday.

The images showed the Take That logo edited onto various stadiums and arenas across the UK.

Those who pre-order the new album This Life from takethat.com before 10am on Tuesday, September 26 will receive a special code to access pre-sale tickets from Wednesday, September 27 at 9.30am.

Tickets will go on general on Friday, September 29 at 9.30am at tix.to/TakeThat and will start at £60 plus booking fees.

Hospitality packages and accessible tickets are typically available through Carrow Road directly, with more details to be announced.
