A new pie and mash restaurant serving traditional food is opening in Great Yarmouth.

Arthur's Pie and Mash will launch in Howard Street South later this month.

The business, managed by Matthew Warner, is named after his eight-month-old son, Arthur.

Mr Warner said: "We saw there was a gap in the market, the closest shop like it was in Ipswich.

"We want to provide really affordable food for everyone at a decent price.

"Everything's very expensive these days and shops like this are a necessity.

"The restaurant will sell traditional mince meat pies with gravy, as well as various cakes and sausage rolls."

Arthur's Pie and Mash will serve food both for dine-in and takeaway, available on the Just Eat app.

Mr Warner added: "We're still in the process of doing it up, the shop has been closed for quite a while.

"I want to make it look as nice and fresh as I can."

The restaurant is planned to open on September 28.
