From drink deals to competitions, the full programme has now been announced for Norwich Cocktail Week 2023.

The popular annual event returns from Friday, October 13 until Sunday, October 22 and 2,000 brochures will soon be distributed across the city, which will include vouchers for £5 snacks. 

From Sir Toby's Beers at Norwich Market to The Wildman in Bedford Street, more than 40 bars, pubs and restaurants across the city are taking part.

Each is offering a special drink, priced between £6 and £7.50, during Cocktail Week and no wristbands are required. 

There are also seven trails running across the city, each with six or seven stops, where people can send a photo of a completed stamp sheet for the chance to win a Mindful Mixology cocktail box. 

The event has been organised by local chef and blogger Zena Leech-Calton of Love Norwich Food in collaboration with Danni from Mindful Mixology, Jordan from Curlyworm Creative, Lee from My Handy Guide and fellow food bloggers Feeding Stevie and Becky - from A Girl Around Norwich.

Angelica Tobit has also created some original work to raffle for this year's charity, which is The Burnt Chef Project, and Cocktail Week is a non-profit event. 

The special events planned during Norwich Cocktail Week are:

1. Food and Cocktail Tour

Where: Across Norwich city centre 

When: October 13, 5.30pm-8.30pm

Price: £55pp, book via Love Norwich Food through its website or message on social media 

Join Zena of Love Norwich Food for a tour of the city's food and drink scene. All food and drink plus three cocktails are included and it leads to Gyre and Gimble for the launch party.

2. Launch Party

Where: Gyre and Gimble, 14 Charing Cross, Norwich, NR2 4AL

When: October 13, 6pm until late 

Price: Free entry 

Happy Hour will run all night and the Norwich Cocktail Week cocktail will be £5 all evening, with free shots for early arrivals.

3. A Taste of Yalm with Cocktail Flight

Where: Yalm Food Hall, 22-24 The Royal Arcade, Norwich, NR2 1NQ

When: October 14, timings TBC

Price: TBC, tickets will be available through the Yalm website

Head to this popular Norwich food hall for a unique cocktail flight experience. 

4. Cocktail Exhibition and Championships

Where: The Bowling House, 7 Dereham Road, Norwich, NR2 4HX

When: October 16, 5pm-late

Price: Free entry

Sample cocktails and witness the fight to be crowned the Norwich Cocktail Week Champion. Happy Hour will run all night and there is a special £10 food menu.

5. Yalm Rum Party

Where: Yalm Food Hall, 22-24 The Royal Arcade, Norwich, NR2 1NQ

When: October 21, timings TBC

Price: TBC, tickets will be available through the Yalm website

6. Wrap Party

Where: 11th and Social, 9-11 Upper King Street, Norwich, NR3 1RB

When: October 22, 5pm until late 

Price: Free entry 

Happy Hour runs all night at this final event of Norwich Cocktail Week 2023.
