A town pet shop will be closing its doors after more than three decades, it has been revealed.
Animal Magic, in Bridge Street in Downham Market, confirmed the closure as happening next week, with its exit from the shop making way for a new fitness studio.
Formerly known as Pets Tuck Shop, it has been serving the local community since the late 1980s.

One saddened townswoman wrote on Facebook: "I wish them well, but I really think it would have been nice to keep it as a shop, as our shops are disappearing in our little town."
Another said: "What a shame, it's such a handy shop to have for pet owners."
Last week it was announced that couple Lisa and Ben Jarratt, the owners of Downham Ladies Fitness, would be expanding into new premises in the town's high street for their new venture, Downham Fitness.
Offering small group personal training that focuses on functional fitness, the duo hope to better everyday life for its clients in the new shop.
