Buy apples fit for a king as a Royal Estate brings back its unique pick-your-own experience for 2023.

The Sandringham Estate in West Norfolk will open up its orchards to the public daily from Saturday, September 16 until Sunday, September 24.

It will be open from Monday to Saturday from 1pm to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 5pm and it is free to visit - just pay for the apples you pick.

Now fuelling Sandringham Apple Juice made at the Estate, the orchards are open once a year to the public and were started by King George VI in the 1930s.

The varieties available to pick include Cox and Bramley and the apple juice is also available to buy from the Sandringham Shop.

There is car parking at the orchards and there is no need to book.

It will be signposted from both the A149 and the A148, with blue PYO Apples signs to follow.
