Tic-Tac was described as "feisty and tenacious" when she first arrived at the zoo in 2014.
By the time of her death, she had become an extremely friendly, loving and charismatic bird.
Amazona Zoo in a statement on Facebook: "Every morning our keepers would open her door and she would hop out into the corridor and spend the next hour or so exploring or following the keepers in their duties.
"She also loved to be groomed and to be helped with her feather maintenance, giving a satisfied chuckle as you did this for her.
"We have loved having her in our lives for the past nine years and she will never be forgotten."
