Eight weeks of roadworks are due to draw to a close tomorrow, after months of disruption.

The work at the Boundary junction, where Mile Cross meets Hellesdon, has been ongoing since July 10.

It involved the replacement of all the traffic lights and resurfacing of the road, with over 40 new traffic signal poles installed.

Eastern Daily Press:

The busy junction's roadworks caused traffic chaos with some bus services experiencing 90-minute delays.

The A140 Aylsham Road and Cromer Road, and Reepham Road, have been closed at the junction for a number of weeks and signed diversion routes were in place.

The work has cost £500,000 for carriageway resurfacing and £300,000 for the replacement of traffic signals.
