A Norfolk restaurant has taken its offering up a tier by launching afternoon tea and brunch.

The Ratcatchers in Cawston, near Aylsham, is a steakhouse and brasserie and Michal Szczerbinski has been the head chef and owner for the last four years.

He has just introduced afternoon tea and it is a collaboration with Coltishall-based business Bonnie BonBons, run by Bonnie Moore, who is providing the sweet treats.

Also newly launched is a brunch menu at weekends from 9am until 1pm, including a full English and waffles.

Mr Szczerbinski said: "We have always wanted to do afternoon tea and brunch but didn't have enough staff, but we now have a new chef to spread the workload.

"Brunch has been very busy so far and there was a demand for it in the area."
